asleep [ə'sliːp] adj.睡熟（的）

【易错警示】asleep/ sleep/ sleeping/ sleepy/ go to bed
asleep asleep是形容词，是表语形容词，只能做表语，意思是：睡着的。例如：He is asleep now。
sleep sleep是动词，意思是睡觉。I didn't sleep well last night. 我昨晚没睡好。
sleeping sleeping是形容词，意思是：睡着的，不一定用做标语，可以用做定语，另外它还是个动名词。The sleeping child is her son. 这个睡着的孩子是她的儿子。
sleepy sleepy是形容词，意思是：困倦的，想睡的。I felt sleepy. 我很想睡了。
